Arrival
at approximately 7:30PM EST, 1 hour before dark. We began by placing the generator 300 feet from the command
center and away from any of the grave sites.
We decided to place the
Command Center under a round pavilion that was near the center of
the cemetery. We set up a table, 5 computers and several
power supplies. We then set up 9 IR Inferred LED
Night Cameras. Each
camera was placed approximately 100’ from the command post
facing away to prevent IR Light Effects.
We then readied cameras and recording devices.
We walked the areas that we planned to investigate before
dark. We set up 2
fixed audio microphones, these will be recorded by the laptops.
Donna
performed the research for the hunt and is also a sensitive.
She walked the cemetery and designated 2 areas of interest,
we redirected cameras on those locations. Note: We were unable to find any ghost stories or paranormal
reports from this cemetery, this was in fact a blind hunt.
During this initial walk around it should be noted that
there was a slight breeze and the base line EMF was between 0.0
and 0.4 Gauss. We
found an overhead power run to a pump house on property, we stayed
away from these areas.
We then formed a team
of three and began sweeps of the rows of stones and markers.
We were carrying digital audio recorders with omni
directional amplified microphones, Digital and Analog EMF
detectors, thermal, and radiological detectors.
We were using a Sony night shot DV with IR Light Extender.
We realized early on
that the thermal units were ranging wildly between 35 Degrees when
facing the open sky to 80 Degrees when facing a stone 8 feet away.
The breeze was subsiding.
As stated earlier Donna had pointed out two “Hot
Spots”. Spot 1 had
some strange thermal readings despite the earlier tests there was
a cold spot that was felt by each of the team members.
We moved an IR camera and marked the area.
We then moved to “Hot Spot #2”
here again we had an unexplainable persistent cold spot.
It was felt by team members and somewhat verified with
thermal meters. At this location we had several EMF Spiked over 2.0.
Nothing that lasted more that 3 to 5 seconds then it would
move. We stayed for a
while recording video and audio.
We tried the usual provoking and poking hoping for an EVP.
We returned back at the command post and began charging
batteries. The Mini
DV Camera, and 1 of the Sony Cyber Shots experienced new fully
charged batteries drained in about 30 minutes.
After about an hour we
assembled a 4 man team to go around again.
At spot 1 again there was a cold spot.
It was slight but was defiantly there.
We were provoking and scanning when we began to get 2.2 and
2.5 EMF spikes. These
spikes were near the cold spot.
Again the readings were slight but defiantly present.
At spot #2 we were treated to another cold spot and a
couple of low level EMF spikes.
We then visited a grave that was very recent, possibly from
that day. Again
provoking Kindly. We
then headed back to command.
Again experiencing
short battery life in several deferent pieces of equipment.
We began charging batteries and discussing out findings
with Donna. She
advised there was a strange light that appeared on camera #2 on
Spot #2. We went to
this location. We
were unable to see the light, however, Donna advised it was in
fact still clearly visible on the camera.
We began to debunk the light and we found that it was a
reflection from another IR camera located to the West of the site.
We took another set of
reading at spot #2 and the spot was currently inactive.
After a rest and
recharge we went out again. This
was about 3:30 AM. We
made a full sweep and thoroughly scanned both spots.
Other than a slight cold spot at spot #1 it was quiet.
We had a couple of
slight EMF spikes up to 2.2 Gauss.
It was vary quiet.
At approximately 5AM we
began to break down the cameras and audio devices.
We shut down the generator at about 5:30 and started
home just before 6 AM.
After
returning from this hunt I began experimenting with the thermals
outside and I again found that the detector would report a
temperature of an object 10 feet away and that pointing it at the
sky will give you a vary cold reading. We were
getting such wild readings from both thermal units, we have decided
to throw most, if not all, of the thermal evidence out. We
feel that these detectors can't be used outdoors and the readings
we received were basically useless.
We have begun the
process of reviewing the evidence and will have complete results
as soon as possible.
FINDINGS:
We have concluded this investigation and have made the following
determinations. We did have several personal experiences as
well as several unexplained electro magnetic fields. We also
had several anomalous unidentifiable sounds, however, none were
determined to be paranormal in nature. Despite using 12
cameras of various types we had no unexplained video images.
We also examined several hundred digital flash photos, these were
also clear of any
